I’M RASHID

Born in the heart of Pakistan and now blossoming in the United States, I am a storyteller at my core, deeply moved by the tales of partition narrated by my grandparents. Their arduous journey from Amritsar to a newly partitioned Pakistan, and their stories while living under Bristish Rule, instilled in me a profound fascination with history. As I settled into the American way of life and while travelling many countries, I observed how Western countries cherish their historical legacy. This contrasted sharply with the fading connection many young overseas Pakistanis, Indians, and Bengalis had with their mother tongues, a vital key to unlocking their ancestral stories. Driven by this realization, I embarked on a mission to create content in English, aiming for neutrality and accessibility. Through this journey, not only do I uncover new insights, but I also learn immensely from the diverse perspectives shared by my viewers.
